So I'm really glad I accidentally read the second book of this series before this one because I think if I had started here, I wouldn't have kept going. There wasn't really a story (at least not one that I could decipher) until the second book. So I'm definitely going to keep reading this series as the next installments come up because now I'm very interested to see where it's going. The graphics are gorgeous and you can definitely feel and tell that this is a story that's going to get deeper and deeper as it goes, and I have no doubt you'll want to go back and re-read (re-look at?) the graphics from the previous entries so that you have more information to tie them all together. I know that's what I'll be doing.I would highly recommend this series to fans of sequential art/graphic novels, as well as fans of gothic and eldritch stories. Reading this story almost feels like you're looking through a haze in your mind because it feels so eerie at times. It's very disconcerting but definitely leaves you feeling like things are much bigger than they appear, and that there's something deep and dark lurking in the story that has yet to appear. If you believe is the Loch Ness Monster I would think it would be similar to waiting next to the Loch anxiously looking for any sign, always partially relaxed and partially on guard at the same time.
